Lonzo Ball may have pissed plenty of people off when he claimed nobody listens to Nas, but his opinion on today’s hip-hop music makes no difference to one legend’s son.
Earlier this month, the L.A. Lakers’ rookie made headlines for claiming that no one listens to Nas, while Future and Migos were much more relevant artists.
The comments drew scorn from a variety of people, from actor/director Michael Rapaport to Nas himself.
Still, the Ball’s and their Big Baller brand has Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell Broadus’ intrigued.
“I love it, I love the Big Baller brand, But I think they could use some of my help,” Cordell Broadus said. “I want to help design some stuff for them.”
The news of Cordell’s interest in designing sneakers comes on the heels of his high-profile appearance at New York Fashion Week.
Lonzo’s dad LaVar Ball also is planning to drop his own Big Baller sneaker, which has a price tag of $1,500.
