YG Discusses The Concept Behind Short Film ‘Blame It On The Streets’

To promote his short film and accompanying soundtrack for Blame It On The Streets, YG stopped by Hot 97′s Ebro in the Morning.

Similar to films Murder Was the Case and Jay Z’s Streets Is Watching, the west coast emcee says that the movie is based off of two tracks from his My Krazy Life album, “BPT” and “Meet The Flockers,” and will give people a front row seat to what life is like on the streets of Bompton.

“Some people think that my people [are] just ignorant for no reason,” said the 24-year-old. “The movie is just showing the people how s**t happens.”

Blame It On The Streets drops on Dec. 15th.
